Job summary

Groundworks, North America’s leading foundation repair and water management specialist, seeks a Permit Coordinator Supervisor in our Miami office. You will lead Permit Coordinators across branches, ensure timely, code-compliant submissions, and drive process improvements while coaching the team to meet KPIs.

The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, experience in permitting and ICC code, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in permitting, operations, or project coordination.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of permitting processes and ICC code.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Permit Coordinators across multiple branches.
• Conduct stand-up meetings to review team priorities and blockers.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention efforts.
• Develop training materials and cross-training resources.
• Mentor staff for advancement and leadership roles.
• Ensure timely submission of permit applications and tracking across jurisdictions.
• Maintain standardized permitting procedures and SOPs across branches.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/annual reports analyzing permitting trends.
• Coordinate with engineering, CAD, sales and leadership to prevent delays.
• Maintain compliant digital permitting records and financial documentation.
