Pike Engineering is seeking a Permit Coordinator to oversee and perform permitting for accounts within the local area. The role includes compiling permit packets, filling out applications, and determining required permits across various municipalities to minimize turnaround times.

Under supervision, you will coordinate with peers, engineers, and clients to ensure efficient permit processing and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Requires strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret permit drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with permitting processes and coordinating with engineers/clients.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Geomedia platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team on schedule, delivery, and status of permits.
• Obtain documents from Engineers to facilitate the permit application process.
• Obtain approvals and act as liaison between company and client.
• Prepare and submit applications for permits to agencies/boards.
• Review plans for correct revisions and permit details.
• Update and monitor permit status in work management system.
• Submit paperwork for permits and track progress with clients.
• Resolve permit comments with engineers to prevent delays.
• Maintain schedules for communities from inception to approval.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments.
• Enter permitting data and maintain files.
