Groundworks in Virginia Beach is seeking a Centralized Permit Coordinator to manage residential and commercial permitting throughout the project lifecycle. You will prepare and track permit applications, coordinate inspections, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role interfaces with municipalities, engineers, and internal teams to keep projects moving from permit through closure. The position is onsite in Virginia Beach with a pay rate of $21.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple permit processes and track status.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications and documentation.
• Coordinate permit inspections, revisions, and closeout activities.
• Communicate permit status with branches, customers, municipalities and internal teams.
• Identify aging or at-risk permits and drive timely resolutions.
• Support process improvements to increase permitting efficiency.
