Job summary

Constellation is seeking a highly organized Permit Coordinator to assist in acquiring electrical, HVAC, and plumbing permits across state and local jurisdictions. The ideal candidate understands codes and will support the Permits Supervisor in keeping licenses and insurance up-to-date in an office setting.

This position is not a hybrid role. Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and authorities to ensure timely permits, maintain records, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in permit management for electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of state and local permit regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to obtain permits for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing projects across jurisdictions.
• Assist the Permits Supervisor to maintain and renew company trade licenses and insurance documentation.
• Keep accurate records of all permits and licenses.
• Monitor changes in permitting requirements and guide the team on regulatory updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with inspectors and authorities.
• Review projects to ensure information supports permit submissions and compliance.
