Job summary

Constellation seeks a highly organized Permit Coordinator to support electrical, HVAC, and plumbing permitting across state and local counties. This office-based role is not hybrid, requiring strong regulatory knowledge and coordination with the Permits Supervisor.

You will maintain licenses and insurance records, track changes in regulations, and build relationships with inspectors to keep projects compliant and on schedule, drawing on 2+ years of permit management experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of state and local permit regulations and requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 2-years of experience in permit management, preferably in the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing industries.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Journeyman trade license in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate permit acquisition for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing projects across state and local jurisdictions.
• Assist the Permits Supervisor to maintain and renew company trade licenses, ensuring they are current and valid.
• Keep accurate records of all permits and licenses.
• Monitor changes in permitting requirements and provide guidance to the team on permitting processes and regulatory updates.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with inspectors and jurisdictional authorities.
• Review incoming electrical, HVAC, and plumbing projects to ensure submitted information is sufficient for required permits and that projects comply with Constellation Home best practices and qualifications.
