Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year directly related experience or equivalent.
• ICC Permit Technician Certification or equivalent required or must be obtained within first 12 months of employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to information requests and assist the public with permit requirements and fees.
• Review incoming plans and permit requests for completeness and compliance; process and issue permits.
• Create and maintain permit files and data entry in electronic and manual filing systems.
• Schedule inspections and compile information for inspectors.
• Perform general office duties and handle funds and deposits.
• Prepare and distribute reports detailing financial activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
