The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in telecom, utility, or power infrastructure permitting, with strong working knowledge of NESC standards and hands‑on experience with All‑Span or One‑Engineer‑Span permitting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit utility pole attachment permit applications.
- Review pole data, verify compliance with NESC standards, and complete required engineering checks.
- Coordinate with utility companies, internal OSP engineering, and construction teams.
- Track permit statuses and ensure timely follow‑ups.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation using Excel, MS Office, and Access.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience with utility pole permitting, including All-Span / One-Engineer-Span methods.
- Strong understanding of NESC (National Electrical Safety Code).
- Telecom, power, or utility industry background.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- MS Excel and MS Office expertise.
- Experience using Access.
- Project management or coordination experience.
