Job description

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in telecom, utility, or power infrastructure permitting, with strong working knowledge of NESC standards and hands‑on experience with All‑Span or One‑Engineer‑Span permitting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit utility pole attachment permit applications.
  • Review pole data, verify compliance with NESC standards, and complete required engineering checks.
  • Coordinate with utility companies, internal OSP engineering, and construction teams.
  • Track permit statuses and ensure timely follow‑ups.
  • Maintain records, reports, and documentation using Excel, MS Office, and Access.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Experience with utility pole permitting, including All-Span / One-Engineer-Span methods.
  • Strong understanding of NESC (National Electrical Safety Code).
  • Telecom, power, or utility industry background.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • MS Excel and MS Office expertise.
  • Experience using Access.
  • Project management or coordination experience.
