City of League City is seeking a frontline staff member to greet applicants, answer questions, and process building permit applications. You will provide technical support on development processes, maintain records, and assist with inspections scheduling.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year in a related field, and the ability to obtain an ICC permit technician certification within one year. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office is expected.
This is a forward-facing position that serves as the first point of contact for all customers which include residents, builders, contractors, utility companies, vendors and internal staff. The purpose of this position is to process building permit applications and ensure building compliance with safety codes and standards.
