Job summary

Wolf Industries Inc. is seeking a motivated Permit Specialist to join our permitting team in-office with occasional travel to project sites and jurisdiction offices. You will research municipal codes, prepare site plans, and manage permit packets across Washington and Oregon.

Job description

A home cannot move into production without the right permits in place. At Wolf Industries, our in-house permitting team plays a critical role in moving each project from planning to construction - and we’re looking for a motivated Permit Specialist to join that team.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys research, problem-solving, detailed project coordination, and working with customers, vendors, and local jurisdictions to get results.

In this role, you will:
  • Research municipal codes, zoning requirements, and jurisdiction-specific regulations
  • Prepare site plans and supporting project documents
  • Create and maintain permit and job packets
  • Submit permit applications throughout Washington and Oregon
  • Track permits through review, approval, issuance, reporting, and closeout
  • Work with GIS mapping, CAD, and Revit information
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and jurisdiction staff
  • Visit project sites or jurisdiction offices when necessary
  • Help keep projects moving forward and support production scheduling

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to seeing projects through to completion. Experience researching zoning regulations, preparing site plans, navigating permit processes, or providing customer service is preferred.

Position

In-office, with occasional travel to project sites and jurisdiction offices

Compensation

Starting at $25–$28+ per hour, depending on experience
