  • Prepare, review, and submit permit applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Research and interpret local, state, and federal codes, ordinances, and regulatory requirements related to permitting.
  • Track permit application status, review timelines, and approval conditions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Respond to agency comments, requests for additional information, and correction notices in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate revisions and resubmittals with project stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain organized, up-to‑date permitting documentation and records.
  • Identify permitting risks or delays early, and proactively communicate impacts and solutions to project teams.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the duration of each project.
  • Support inspections, approvals, and final sign‑offs as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Strong working knowledge of municipal permitting regulations, licensing requirements, and code compliance processes.
  • Prior experience with a private provider or consulting environment preferred.
  • Ability to independently research, analyze, organize, and summarize complex issues into clear, well‑written memoranda.
  • Sharp attention to detail, with the ability to accurately track applications, deadlines, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with multiple business units and external stakeholders.
  • Self‑starter who works well independently and as part of a team, juggling multiple projects and competing priorities.
