Job summary

CDS Development Services is hiring an entry‑level Permit Coordinator to join our growing Development team. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, and excited to learn how real estate projects move from concept to reality.

You will work closely with the Development team to track permits, communicate with jurisdictions, and ensure projects move forward efficiently. Training and mentorship are provided to help you grow within commercial development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Real Estate, Business, Planning, Construction, or related field a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Assist with due diligence and researching permit requirements across jurisdictions
  • Prepare and submit permit applications and supporting documentation
  • Track permit statuses, deadlines, and approvals
  • Communicate with municipal staff and internal project teams
  • Maintain organized project files, logs, and reports
  • Support schedules, milestones, and overall project coordination

No prior permitting experience is required—we provide training, mentorship, and hands‑on exposure to national development projects.
