• Assist the public at the Permit Center, provide customer service in person, by phone or by email regarding submittal requirements.
• Screen and review building permit and development review applications for completeness; enter permit data into permitting software database.
• Calculate various fees and apply fees to permits or related billings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the public at the Permit Center, provide customer service in person, by phone or by email.
• Screen and review building permit and development review applications for completeness; enter permit data into permitting software database.
• Route plans and specifications to applicable City departments and/or outside agencies for review, track plan review process.
• Compile building permit data and prepare reports as directed.
