Job summary

Qualus is seeking an Engineering Technician in its Engineering department to support Utility permit drafting and coordination. The role involves researching permit requirements, drafting permit sketches in CAD, and collaborating with Design Engineers on overhead and underground fiber and electric distribution projects.

Responsibilities include preparing CAD drawings, coordinating with client Permit Coordinators, and tracking permitting requirements while maintaining adherence to agency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2-3 years coordinating with clients, permit authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely approval of permit drawings.
• Knowledge of Right of Way, Easements, road ownership and property boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings showing right-of-way boundaries and utilities.
• Coordinate with client Permit Coordinators to ensure drawings are approved.
• Understand Right of Way, Easements, and property boundaries; submit documents to client servers.
