Job summary

Oxy, Inc. is seeking a Plant Technician to join the Permian EOR Plants team in Gardner, CO. You will perform daily operations, maintenance and surveillance of CO2 gas processing plants and related equipment, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safe, compliant plant turnarounds.

The role requires experience in energy-related industry, ability to work overtime, and fluency in English. CDL and DMV clearance are expected; strong mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations, maintenance, reporting, and surveillance of CO2 gas processing plants, glycol dehydration plants, compressor plants, pipelines, and/or other equipment.
• Oversee and guide activity of contractors including instrument technicians and others.
• Perform energy control on equipment types, sizes, and configuration.
• Prepare job plans and energy control plans for plant turnarounds.
• Provide direction and stewardship of contractors involved in pipelines.
• Respond to callouts and overtime as needed.
• Train and mentor less experienced Technicians and contractors.
• Use computers to operate SCADA systems and SAP; participate in CBT/WBT education.
