As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:
Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals
Assist with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training
Monitor patient responses and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with PTs and other members of the healthcare team
Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient‑centered care
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, compassionate, and patient‑focused
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
