You will work with landlords, property managers, and community partners to create housing opportunities and support clients through lease reviews, move‑in processes, and ongoing tenancy skills. This full‑time, non‑exempt role offers hands‑on community work, collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or housing services.
• At least 1 year of experience working with landlords or property management.
• Experience working with computer systems and databases.
• Experience connecting individuals with community resources is valuable.
• Professional experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with locating and securing permanent housing.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords and property management.
• Conduct landlord outreach to identify housing opportunities.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, Meridian programs, and housing partners.
• Create and maintain a database of landlords and available resources.
• Provide housing resources and guidance to help reach permanent housing goals.
• Participate in developing individualized service plans.
• Advocate and negotiate housing options for clients.
• Help resolve tenant-landlord concerns with stakeholders.
• Collaborate to prevent evictions and promote long-term tenancies.
• Educate on tenant rights, housing retention, and money management.
• Review leases and assist with move-in preparation.
• Conduct housing and property inspections as required.
• Document services in HMIS and client files.
