Job summary

This role emphasizes coordination within MCP guidelines, housing searches, tenant screening, and advocacy with landlords to ensure safe move-in and ongoing stability.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional with experience or related qualifications to serve the population.
• Experience helping individuals or families experiencing homelessness and case management is preferred.
• Familiarity with social services processes and housing resources.

Responsibilities

• Form and foster relationships with housing agencies and permanent housing providers.
• Coordinate with members to identify and secure permanent housing.
• Assist with housing applications and required documentation.
• Advise on benefits and SSI documentation processes.
• Identify and secure rental subsidies and move assistance.
• Educate members on tenant rights and responsibilities.
