Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dedicated CNA for the Acute Medsurgical unit in Alamogordo, NM. This on-site, permanent position offers night shifts and a hands-on role supporting patient care as the unit's organizational backbone.

You will assist with ADLs, communicate clearly with patients and staff, document flowsheet data accurately, and uphold HIPAA privacy while contributing to a calm, efficient inpatient environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a CNA or in a similar role
• Current CNA certification
• Proven experience in patient safety and fall prevention
• Experience in supporting patients with ADLs
• Proven ability to prioritize and respond to call lights
• Experience in service recovery and handling patient complaints
• Strong documentation skills with flowsheet documentation familiarity
• Excellent communication and HIPAA privacy commitment

Responsibilities

• Ensuring patient safety and implementing fall prevention measures
• Providing support to patients in ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, moving)
• Prioritizing and responding to patient call lights promptly
• Addressing patient concerns and implementing service recovery when needed
• Documenting patient interactions and medical information accurately with flowsheet documentation
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals while upholding patient privacy
