Sylvania seeks substitute teachers in Michigan. Start dates depend on permit vs. certificate: Sub Permit—08/31/2026 ($135/day, $67.50/half-day); Teaching Certificate—10/13/2026 ($175/day, $87.50/half-day). Pay rate and start date depend on permit vs.

certification status. Must hold valid Michigan Teaching Certificate or qualify for a Michigan Substitute Permit. Available to work the school calendar for the assigned building level.

• Available to work the school calendar for the assigned building level.
• Auto-assigned to cover Teacher absences at home building. If coverage not needed there, may be moved to another building within same level (i.e. elementary to elementary, middle school to middle school, etc.) as needed.
• May be assigned to work at home building per building needs.
