Job Summary: TheBuilding Substitute will serve as the primary substitute for the districtwhen classroom teachers are out. The assignment will vary from day-to-day and will not include long-term assignments.

Qualifications: Preferred candidate must hold a bachelors degree in any field.In addition, a state and national criminal check will be required, as well as a state DCF search.

Working Conditions: The permanent substituteis expected to report to work every day school is in session and will beguaranteed a teaching assignmenteach day that school is in session. The building substitute teacher will be paid at the rate of $17.14/Hourfor non--certified candidatesand $18.57/ Hour for certified candidates.

There are no additional benefits. Assignments will be made through the district's Substitute Coordinators.
