Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team in hospital, vascular lab, or outpatient centers. You will perform vascular ultrasound exams to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

You will collaborate with physicians to interpret findings, maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, document results in compliance with policies, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to perform vascular ultrasound exams and interpret basic findings.
  • Strong communication with clinicians and patients is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to evaluate blood flow, identify blockages, and detect abnormalities such as blood clots or aneurysms.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic images and provide detailed reports for treatment planning.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate imaging results.
  • Document examination findings in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
