Job summary

Vein Guys is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic vascular examinations, including arterial, venous, and carotid studies, with a focus on accuracy and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a DMS program, ARDMS/ARRT or equivalent certification, and 2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience. RVT preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • RVT credential preferred; ARDMS/ARRT certification required.
  • 2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Experience performing arterial and venous Doppler studies independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations including arterial and venous Duplex studies.
  • Carry out carotid Doppler, ABI testing, and extremity vascular examinations.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain image quality standards.
  • Obtain patient histories and clinical information for accurate interpretation.
  • Review images for quality before submission to physicians.
  • Assist physicians with vascular procedures as needed.
  • Maintain patient records and examination documentation.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.
  • Provide compassionate, professional patient care throughout the exam.
  • Report equipment issues and maintain serviceability.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
RVT credential preferred; ARDMS/ARRT certification required
2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred
Vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology knowledge
Experience performing arterial and venous Doppler studies independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong expertise in vascular and arterial ultrasound imaging to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic vascular examinations, including arterial, venous, and carotid studies, while ensuring exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including:
    • Arterial Duplex Studies
    • Venous Duplex Studies
    • Carotid Doppler Ultrasounds
    • Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) Testing
    • Upper and Lower Extremity Vascular Studies
    • Aortic and Peripheral Vascular Examinations
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain image quality standards.
  • Obtain and document accurate patient histories and clinical information.
  • Review images for technical quality and completeness before submission to interpreting physicians.
  • Assist physicians with vascular procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety regulations, and facility protocols.
  • Provide compassionate, professional care to patients throughout the examination process.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any operational issues.
Qualifications:

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential preferred.
  • ARDMS, ARRT, or equivalent certification required.
  • 2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred.

  • Experience performing arterial and venous Doppler studies independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
