Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound procedures (carotid, upper/lower arterial and venous exams).

• Work with patients across ages in outpatient and inpatient vascular clinics.
• Collaborate with department leadership and peers; ensure accurate vascular reporting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and vascular reporting tools.

Description:Vascular Sonographer position available in an outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic.The role involves working with patients of all ages.You will perform various ultrasound procedures related to vascular conditions.Common diagnoses include PVD, CAD, heart failure, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and TOS.Required skills include performing carotid, upper/lower arterial and venous examinations, DVT/reflux studies, and vein mapping.Experience with renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta procedures, and upper/lower PVR/segmental pressures is essential.You will also work with hemodialysis grafts and arterial bypass grafts.Must be able to collaborate with department leadership and peers effectively.Familiarity with specific technology and equipment, including EMR systems and vascular reporting systems, is required.The working environment is described as traveler-friendly and teamwork-oriented.
