Qualifications

• Specialized Skills: at least 2 years in the administration of substitute care services.
• Preferred: 2 years supervising professional staff in child welfare or child protection.
• Preferred: 2 years conducting quality review of team functioning in a public or private organization.

Responsibilities

• Plans, supervises, reviews, and coordinates the activities of a team of professional caseworkers providing child welfare services.
• Serves as working supervisor.
• Maintains linkages with community and contracted service providers to ensure child-centered, family-focused services.
• Implements a team-based program of staff development and training.
• Explains and enforces agency policies, procedures, and statutes.
• Attends technical staff conferences to assess needed services.
• Performs other duties within the scope of duties.
