Job summary

The Bair Foundation in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Permanency Specialist to support children and families toward safe, stable, and permanent living arrangements. This role centers on permanency planning, family engagement, and coordinating services in line with our mission and regulatory guidelines.

You will walk alongside children toward lasting family connections, help convert temporary placements into lifelong relationships, and advocate for permanency decisions that honor each child's story

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human services field.
• Experience working with children, families, or social service systems preferred.
• Knowledge of child welfare principles and permanency planning.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Candidate must possess valid driver's license, current vehicle insurance and state registration.

• Help transform temporary placements into lifelong relationships through reunification, guardianship, or adoption
