Job summary

Vermont Permanency Initiative (VPI) is hiring a Permanency Coordinator in Bennington, VT to support youth and families through the permanency process. You will liaison with youth, caregivers, state agencies, and community partners to ensure timely, stable outcomes.

Ideal candidates will apply trauma-informed, strength-based, and youth-guided approaches, coordinate family engagement, and participate in planning, court hearings, and case reviews. A compassionate, collaborative team welcomes you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Valid driver's license
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to successfully complete background and pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Support youth and families throughout the permanency process
• Serve as liaison between youth, caregivers, state agencies, and community partners
• Utilize trauma-informed, strength-based, and youth-guided practices
• Facilitate family engagement and community connections
• Participate in treatment planning, court hearings, reviews, and case management
• Support youth with life skills, goal setting, and successful transitions
• Coordinate visits, appointments, meetings, and permanency-related activities
• Collaborate closely with clinical and permanency team members
