Job summary

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.-[REQUIRED]
• Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience in examining, evaluating and treating children and adolescents. -[REQUIRED]
• Candidate must have at least one (1) with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.-[REQUIRED]
• Experience in working with Waivers.-[HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• One year of experience in a supervisory capacity. -[HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Experience with electronic medical record -[HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Must meet the requirements for Children's Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire.
• Additional requirements are good written and verbal communication skills as well as having the ability to be organized, creative, flexible, and provide, non-judgmental, culturally competent, unconditional care.
• Individual must be highly organized and demonstrate competence in providing services to consumers of psychiatric and specialized services.
• Must have valid driver's license and favorable driving record.
• Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.
• Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.
• Must have and retain a valid LMSW, LLP, or LPC in Psychology with the State of Michigan.
