  • Deliver compassionate, professional patient care while adhering to safety and infection control standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Job description

Mobile Echo/Vascular Sonographer

We are seeking a Mobile Echo/Vascular Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services at a variety of healthcare facilities. This role involves traveling to patient sites using a company-provided vehicle, performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, and transmitting images to a radiologist for interpretation. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and traveling throughout the assigned service area.

Schedule
  • Full-time.
  • Mobile position with daily travel to multiple patient locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile Echo and Vascular ultrasound examinations using portable equipment.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and transmit them electronically for interpretation.
  • Verify physician orders and patient identity before every exam.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork daily.
  • Coordinate with dispatch regarding daily assignments and case availability.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.

Requirements
  • Registered with ARDMS or CCI in Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Experience in Echo and Vascular ultrasound.
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Active certifications and credentials must be maintained.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to transport portable ultrasound equipment weighing approximately 20 pounds.
  • Ability to move equipment over varying distances throughout healthcare facilities.
