Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates in Albany, GA seeks a Mobile Diagnostic Sonographer specializing in General and Vascular Ultrasound. You will conduct exams at nursing homes, rehab centers, home health, and other patient sites with portable equipment.

A company vehicle is provided. Requirements include ARDMS/CCI in Vascular, 4+ year in General/Vascular ultrasound, and a valid driver’s license; COVID-19 vaccination or exemption is required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification (Vascular Ultrasound).
• Experience performing General and Vascular Ultrasound examinations.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, physical examination, and TB screening.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic General and Vascular ultrasound examinations using portable ultrasound equipment.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and electronically transmit studies for radiologist interpretation.
• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout the service area.
• Verify physician orders and patient identity before every examination.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and submit required reports daily.
• Safely transport and maintain portable ultrasound equipment.
• Follow all company policies regarding HIPAA, patient safety, and infection control.
• Respond promptly to schedule updates and urgent patient requests.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle and report equipment issues promptly.
• Participate in staff meetings and assist with training when needed.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diagnostic Sonographer specializing in General and Vascular Ultrasound to join our growing healthcare team in Albany, Georgia. In this role, you will perform high-quality mobile ultrasound examinations using portable imaging equipment at nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, home healthcare facilities, and other patient care locations throughout the assigned territory.
