In support of this mission, the strengthening CTE for the 21st Century Act of 2018 (Perkins V) is a principal source of federal funding to states and discretionary grantees for the improvement of secondary and postsecondary CTE programs. The Perkins Coordinator will assist the Dean to ensure Perkins V requirements are implemented and appropriate records maintained by providing general, advisory committee, and budget support.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of the college.
This part-time temporary position (up to 17-hours per week) is located at the Walla Walla Campus.
Work is performed almost exclusively indoors in an office environment. Physical requirements and environment are typical of those in a general office setting, with the possibility of being outdoors. This job involves regular sitting, standing, walking, typing, moving, and exposure to office lighting. The position is housed at the Walla Walla Campus and provides programming for the Walla Walla Campus, Clarkston Campus, and community locations. A wide variety of standard office equipment is continually used, including a phone, copier, printer, and computer. Frequent contact with visitors, staff, faculty and students, including some contact with those who may be angry, distraught, or frustrated.
Vacation, sick leave and personal leave benefits are available on a pro-rated basis.
