Job summary

The role exercises discretion in duties related to warehouse operations and quality control. Responsibilities include daily quality checks, communicating issues to buyers, ensuring proper product rotation, and analyzing variance reports to support accurate spoilage accounting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Must have exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two-way communication.
• Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Check produce in slots daily to ensure shipping quality.
• Communicate quality issues with buyers to ensure the customer receives high quality products.
• Ensure proper rotation and report any problems to stockers/supervisors.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage and damages.
• Greet internal and external customers to maintain customer service and efficiency.
• Inspect inbound/outbound product and document condition.
• Correspond regularly on the company status of product quality.
• Analyze and propose solutions to quality assurance problems.
• Observe safety rules, sanitation policies.
