Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks a warehouse QA–perishables specialist to monitor product quality, input orders, and provide extensive customer service. You will assess daily production, communicate issues, and help ensure top-quality shipments for customers.

The role requires attention to detail, data-entry accuracy, and strong communication. Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience, a high school diploma, and be able to work on-site in a fast-paced environment with safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Strong listening and math skills for unit measurements.
• Good reading and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Check produce in slots daily to ensure shipping quality.
• Communicate quality issues to buyers for resolution.
• Ensure proper rotation and report rotation problems to supervisors.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage and damages.
• Greet customers and maintain high-quality service.
• Inspect inbound/outbound freight and document condition.
• Correspond with relevant parties on product quality status.
• Analyze and propose solutions for QA problems.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
