Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1 year retail experience with supervisory exposure; familiarity with plan-o-gram and perishable merchandising; ability to train staff and maintain stock levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior lead or grocery store experience is preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager with inventory management and ensuring safe, profitable perishable departments.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using guides and order plans.
• Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing and food handling.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and accurately.
