Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store properly.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follows policies.
• Maintain proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, and other perishable areas.
• Process beef and grinds as directed by production plans.
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat as needed.
• Assemble, disassemble, and clean grinders when required.
• Clean and sanitize the department and maintain layout standards.
• Utilize advertising and sales promotion materials appropriately.
• Follow Food Lion guidelines, policies and safety procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and report accidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Adhere to local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and maintain neat appearance.
• Complete CBT, training packets and training aids as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
