Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department team member to provide high-quality customer service and maintain standards within the Perishable area. This position emphasizes fast, friendly, and accurate service, inventory control, and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking, rotating products, and ensuring meat, dairy, and other perishable items are properly displayed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department and maximize sales through service.
• Maintain standards and proper product levels in Perishable areas (meat, dairy, etc.).
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow company policies, handle merchandising, and use department tools as applicable.
• Carry out duties to ensure a safe and efficient work environment for customers and associates.
