Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Logistics team seeks a Supply Chain Manager to own next-generation perishable distribution processes for produce. The role intersects DC operations, supply chain design, food safety, and technology to reduce shrink and improve speed across the network.

You will define cross-dock processes, partner with vendors and safety teams, and drive new equipment and tooling implementations to support faster, higher-quality produce distribution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.

Responsibilities

• Define how produce flows through our network with minimal quality degradation and maximum speed.
• Define end-to-end cross-dock processes (receiving through outbound), partnering with Whole Foods Market and Food Safety on standards, labeling, and cold chain.
• Identify and introduce new equipment to enable produce as-broken-down units without quality loss.
• Partner with tech to implement associate-facing tooling (pick instructions, sort logic, container assignments).
• Inform the longer-term DC cross-dock strategy and how it integrates with network design and vendor frequency.
• Work with Retail, Finance, and Operations to define supply chain, network design, and operating models for the future produce network.
• Develop repeatable SOPs and training materials that scale across sites.
• Test new distribution processes with in-stock, category, and operations teams.
