Food Lion in Sylvania, GA is seeking a team member for the Perishable Department to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining product standards and accurate stock levels. You will help with receiving, rotating, and stocking perishable items, and assist customers with a helpful attitude.

Responsibilities include processing beef and other meats, weighing and labeling products, maintaining clean work areas, and following safety guidelines. Training includes CBT and standard procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilités

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code, rotate and store items appropriately.
• Ensure proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy and other perishable areas.
• Prepare, weigh, wrap and stock meat; assemble and clean grinders as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department and maintain layout standards.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and report accidents.
