Job summary

Food Lion in the Midlothian area is seeking a Perishable Department Associate to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service. You will maintain product levels across meat, dairy, and frozen sections and assist with deliveries, stocking, and display upkeep.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, following safety guidelines, wearing the uniform, and completing CBT and training packets as required. This role supports store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries and rotate stock where applicable.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and related sections.
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat cases as directed.
• Assemble, disassemble, and clean grinders as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
