Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a store-based team member to support the Perishable Department with top-notch customer service and adherence to standard procedures. You will help manage meat, dairy, and other perishable items, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and maintain cleanliness and safety within the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Assist with perishable areas: meat, lunchmeat, dairy, frozen, etc.
• Receive deliveries, code, rotate and store merchandise.
• Ensure proper display, labeling, and stock levels in the Perishable Department.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear Food Lion uniform with name badge.
