Job summary

Food Lion in Beaufort, SC is seeking a Perishable Department Associate to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service while upholding department standards and food safety guidelines.

You will receive deliveries, rotate and stock merchandise, maintain product levels across meat, dairy, and frozen sections, follow policies, complete CBT and training, and perform other duties as assigned to support a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and put in appropriate storage area.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise adheres to policies and guidelines.
• Maintain proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, frozen, dairy, ice cream sections.
