Job summary

Food Lion in Lugoff, SC is seeking a courteous Perishable Department associate to provide quality customer service, maintain product levels in meat, dairy, and prepared foods, and support store operations with accurate stocking and rotation.

You will follow Food Lion safety guidelines, operate basic computer tools (ACIS/CAO), complete CBT modules, and work as part of a team to deliver fast, friendly service and reduce shrink.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department.
• Maintain proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, frozen, dairy, and ice cream.
• Receive deliveries, code, rotate and store merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to company policies and standard practice.
