Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Hospital Support role responsible for basic care services including patient, specimen, and equipment transport, room cleaning, and environmental care maintenance. The position supports the Product Coordinator with unpacking and restocking of supplies and requires attention to safety and proper body mechanics.

Schedule: Tuesday & Friday 8a-6:30p. Prior healthcare experience is preferred; a High School diploma or GED is required and BLS Certification is

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes OR suite cleaning for room turnover and cleans common areas within the perioperative area using prescribed procedures.
• Transports and handles essential equipment per policies and procedures.
• Maintains environment of care including scrub sinks and clutter-free hallways; ensures patient safety in all areas.
• Transports patients and specimens, assists with moving and positioning patients using proper body mechanics.
• Assists in OR set-up for each case with essential equipment moved into the room.
• Stocks shelves and linen and fluids, assists in putting away warehouse supplies daily.
