Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Perioperative Services Technician I at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. The role supports patient care in the Operating Room by transporting and positioning for surgery, assisting in turnovers, and performing general errands as directed by team leaders and charge nurses.

This Entry Level role includes day shift training with a permanent rotating evening shift schedule, holidays and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Perioperative Services Technician I assists with patient care in the Operating Room by transporting and lifting/positioning for surgery.
• They clean and assist in OR turnovers and perform general errands as required by the team leader and charge nurses.
