Meds Talent LLC is seeking Surgical Technologists to support hospital operating rooms across multiple specialties, upholding sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to the highest standards of perioperative care, with on-site day shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist course.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification — required.
• Three to four years of surgical setting experience preferred.
• State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a sterile field in accordance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Anticipate surgeons’ needs and efficiently provide instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.
• Perform accurate surgical counts and maintain proper organization throughout procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping within the scope of practice.
• Handle surgical specimens and supplies according to established protocols.
• Clean, turn over, and prepare operating rooms between surgical cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and other perioperative team members.
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs and surgical requirements.
• Follow established safety, sterilization, and infection control procedures.
