Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System's South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights is seeking an experienced RN for the Surgery team to provide stellar patient care, assist surgeons during procedures, and support perioperative services in a Magnet-designated setting.

You will help prepare the OR, manage instruments, monitor patient status, and ensure safe, high-quality care before, during, and after surgery, while demonstrating empathy and teamwork with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
• One year RN experience or completion of perioperative residency program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting for adults and children.
• Perform scrub functions: select and handle instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions: monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks and patient positioning.
• Prepare the operating room and equipment for use.
