Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is hiring for a Full-time Environmental Services Associate to support operating room cleanliness and patient-care preparation. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to sterile procedures.

You will perform room cleaning, equipment handling, and supply logistics on a daytime schedule. Prior hospital experience is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and BLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospital setting and surgical services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans operating room suites or procedure rooms between cases and assists with terminal cleaning as requested.
• Performs timely delivery and pickup of supplies, records, x-rays, orders, and equipment as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of lounge and changing rooms in collaboration with Environmental Services.
• Cleans storage areas and stocks supplies such as scrub brushes, masks, shoe covers, hats, cleaning supplies, and garbage bags.
• Assists in patient care preparation, including completing pre-op checklists, shaving surgical sites, and performing betadine scrubs.
