Job summary

Jefferson Health's Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a regular-Shift Transporter to support the OR team. You will transfer and position patients, transport supplies, and assist nursing staff with patient care activities to maximize productivity and care quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe environment and participating in perioperative care as part of the health care team. Workday Day shifts are typical at this location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs and perform patient transfers.
• Ability to stand/walk frequently and support perioperative care as part of the OR team.

Responsibilities

• Transports and delivers supplies and equipment to facilitate patient care.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care activities as directed.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment to support patient care.
• Participates as a health care team member to support perioperative care.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
