Community Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Materials Coordinator in Ventura to oversee the Surgical Case Cart process and inventory control within Perioperative Services. You will coordinate acquisition, receiving, and distribution of supplies, acting as a liaison across Materials Management and Sterile Processing, and assist with care tech duties as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years in a surgical setting, and a current BLS certification, plus basic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of related experience in a surgical setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• Knowledge of supply chain/Lean management.
• Previous Scrub Tech/Case cart assembly experience.
• Medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the Surgical Case Cart process.
• Monitor materials and inventory control for Perioperative Services.
• Manage materials acquisition, receiving and distribution.
• Serve as liaison between Materials Management, Sterile Processing and Perioperative Services.
• Assist with Perioperative Care Tech duties as needed.
• Ensure effective management of supplies, instruments and equipment.
