Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in progressive perioperative or surgical services.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in healthcare management with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Active RN license and relevant life-support certifications (BCLS/ACLS/PALS); CNOR preferred)

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily operations of the surgical services department, ensuring alignment with mission, vision, and values.
• Oversees perioperative care, ensuring staffing, equipment, and supplies meet patient and procedural needs.
• Identifies improvement opportunities in perioperative practices and implements strategies to enhance outcomes and efficiency.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to surgical services staff.
• Collaborates with perioperative management and teams to implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Analyzes quality data to inform decision-making and promote best practices.
• Supports recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of perioperative personnel.
