The AVP will develop recruitment strategies, monitor staffing metrics, and apply research to practice, ensuring policies support quality outcomes and financial stewardship

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, business, or related field.
• 5 years in perioperative services.
• BLS - Basic Life Support required
• CNOR - Certified Nurse Operating Room required
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse in PA required.

Responsibilities

• Guides and oversees all operational and clinical activities of assigned areas.
• Assures delivery of safe and effective patient care.
• Develops ongoing recruitment strategies and oversees their implementation.
• Collaborates to establish planning aligned with mission and goals.
• Monitors vacancy and turnover; designs programs to minimize vacancies and turnover.
• Develops and implements systems for evaluating nursing care provided.
• Revises policies, procedures, and practices as needed.
